PRESPOSITIONS
Prepositions (Kata depan) adalah kata yang menunjukan hubungan antara noun, pronoun, dan kata-kata lainnya dalam kalimat. (Preposition is a word that show the relationship between nouns, pronouns, and other words in a sentence.)
Kata depan (preposisi) diletakan sebelum kata benda untuk menerangkan posisi atau letak , tujuan, atau waktu dari benda lain yang kita maksudkan. (Preposition is placed before a noun to describe the position or location, purpose, or time of another object that we mean.)
Contoh:
• He sits on the box.
• He sits in the box.
• He sits behind the box.
• He sits beside the box.
JENIS-JENIS PREPOSITIONS (TYPES OF PREPOSITIONS)
Kata depan dapat dibedakan dari banyaknya suku katanya menjadi 2 (dua) macam, yaitu: (Preposition can be distinguished from the number of syllables into 2 (two) kinds, namely:)
A. Kata depan yang terdiri dari satu suku kata (single preposition) (Prepositions consisting of one syllable (single preposition))

Ada beberapa hal yang perlu diperhatikan mengenai penggunaan prepositions ini, yaitu: (There are several things to note about the use of these prepositions, namely:)
1. Noun atau yang berfungsi sebagai noun yang menggunakan prepositions adalah object dari preposition tersebut. (A noun or a noun that uses prepositions is the object of the preposition.)
Contoh:
• above the box
• round the corner
• out of kindness
2. Sebuah preposition mungkin mempunyai lebih dari satu object. (A preposition may have more than one object.)
Contoh:
• with my teacher or my parents
• for you and me
3. Jika preposisi terdapat dalam sebuah judul buku atau film, maka penulisan preposisi tersebut ditulis tidak kapital, kecuali jika ditempatkan di awal judul atau jika lebih dari 4 huruf. (If the preposition is in the title of a book or movie, then the preposition is written not capitalized, unless it is placed at the beginning of the title or if it has more than 4 letters.)
Contoh:
• "All about managing" is a good book.
• Spiderman has been removed from Netflix
